Stories from behind the lens + top tips for amateur wildlife photographers

My name is Rhiannon Law and I’m an amateur wildlife photographer based in Glasgow. Sorry if that sounds like I’m sharing an addiction with you but I guess that’s exactly what I’m doing.

With this newsletter, I'll share my experiences with wildlife as well as some top tips, particularly for amateur photographers. I need to fit my passion around a day job, family and other commitments. Although I'm certainly not the best photographer, I am experienced at making the most of the time I have for my nature photography and I want to share what I've learnt with you.

This isn’t all about adorable red squirrels or majestic birds of prey either.

I also want to encourage people to look again at some species they may have previously dismissed. I often feel depressed due to the seemingly constant negative press that some species get in the UK. I'm hoping that by sharing the stories of the wildlife appearing in front of my lens, I can encourage people to take the opposite view of so-called pest species.

What you’ll get

Every time I post a new blog, I’ll share the link here first. Every time I post a new video, I’ll share the link here first. Every time I manage to screw up a perfectly decent wildlife photography opportunity, I’ll share…

Ok, maybe not but I WILL be sharing the ups and downs of my wildlife photography “journey” and you can ask me anything you like direct from your inbox.

Finally…the quote that inspired it all….

There are things I can't force. I must adjust. There are times when the greatest change needed is a change of my viewpoint.
